Precision Panel Structures Receives California Title 24 Certification

Eagle, Idaho -- The State of California Bureau of Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation has issued a Title 24 Certificate to Precision Panel Structures, Inc. of Eagle, Idaho. Precision Panel has succesfully completed comprehensive fire testing, high temperature R-Value and low temperature R-Value verfication testing on their Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to prove their performance in real-world conditions. "California is the only State in the union that enforces the Federal Trade Commission requirement that stipulates insulation manufacturers must prove their true R-Value is within 10% of their advertised R-Value," In simple terms, R-Value is a rating system that deteremines a product's 'Resistance' to heat loss (or heat gain.) "We wanted to prove to our distribution network and their customers that our products are what we say they are,". "In fact, our tested R Values came in higher than what we have been advertising since we started our business in 1995."
